FREE!		 While you may think your PC is running well, over time your PC will collect a whole range of cookies and annoying software that may cause it to run slowly or act in a way that annoys the heck out of you.

These days most websites will install cookies to track movement through their site - this information gathering is generally benign, however there are some aggressive marketing types who seek more from you.

We recommend that you add Malware Protection software to your PC to deal with this nasty stuff. There are a number of good providers including :-

Malwarebytes - www.malwarebytes.org.

This is what you should do :-

Download and install the software, retrieve the latest updates. Close all other open windows and programs and set the software to do a complete scan.

Be patient as this may take quite a while.

Best to have a cup of tea and do something else. This is very similar to how you run your anti-virus service. Update the software regularly.

  
 
 
 

 
  Phishing The "bottom feeders" will try an exert some influence over your surfing habits and direct you to sites that try and capture usernames & passwords - these are call phishing sites.

The organisations that do this are criminals. Do not respond to any websites that ask you for your bank account details.
